Jeena & Company in its true spirit has displayed character in historically the worst economic year since the Great Depression which has shaken the best of economies and Corporates. Despite the pall of gloom Jeena & Company has been able to hold its turf with panache.
We have already institutionalized vertical marketing approach with initial focus on the Auto sector. The vertical marketing approach will definitely add new dimensions to our business with tangible market gains.
In our pursuit to reinvigorate and reinforce our traditional business, we have embarked on Trade Lane focus by identifying new trade lane managers for Europe and USA. We hope it will give us the much needed focus and perspective on both the trade lanes. This will be additional to trade lanes, China and Hong Kong sectors which are fiercely competitive.
Our relations with Port Of Halifax have endured the test of time and still going strong with concrete plans to start new offices in Mumbai and Chennai. We will be hosting a powerful trade delegation of top Canadian companies from Atlantic Canada in Mumbai and Chennai during November 09.
Jeena & Company like a Trojan horse will keep galloping strongly on the long and winding track of success!

| Flight Simulator |
 |
Jeena Mumbai office in association with Allport Ltd., U.K, handled the transportation of a B777 Flight Simulator which was imported by sea from U.K. We also contributed towards the assembling of the Simulator with tools imported from Singapore, at Air India’s site, by arranging for forklift and cranes of various tonnages.
The project was successfully completed within schedule.

We have once again succeeded in doing the impossible for Hyundai Motors who have recently launched the I20. For export to Seychelles, it was not possible to fit more than two cars in a 40’ container and our team at Design Solutions devised a way to fit in four cars instead of two, much to the customer’s delight.

Mr. G. D. Walimbe, Manager Accounts, Legal & Admin. joined the Air Exports Department of Jeena & Company on 16th October 1984. Shortly after, he moved to Accounts and diversified his portfolio with Legal and Administration duties as well. Mr. Walimbe has completed 25 glorious years at Jeena Delhi and we wish him continued success in Jeena to be part of our journey to grow from strength to strength in the coming years.

Sharanya, daughter of P. Sreedhar, Asst. Manager, Accounts, Jeena Hyderabad has won a well deserved gold medal in the fancy dress competition in her school. The tiny tot was dressed as no other than Rani Laxmibai, the fiery Queen of Jhansi, who has a prominent place in Indian history for valiantly fighting the first battle of freedom against the British in pre-independent India.

Not to be left behind, R.Sindhu, daughter of S.Ramaswamy Naidu bagged the Chennai Custom House Agents Childrens' Education Award for Meritorious Student in Class XII - Arts Group. The cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- was presented by the Honourable Union Minister of State for Finance, Shri.S.S.Palanimanickam, on the occasion of the Chennai Custom House Agents’ Golden Jubilee Celebrations in August 2009. |

The integrated HOMYAR system which was developed in-house a few years ago has gone a step forward and can now be accessible to our staff through mobile phones, translating to better service levels for our customers as updation of air cargo clearance details, etc. can be done around the clock and is not restricted to business hours.
The cargo status report is also being emailed to customers. |
